“Shot at Watergate Bay, looking back down towards Newquay during the amazing Storm Darcy swells in early 2021. This angle shows you how strong the offshore wind was with the spray coming off the back of the wave. After a big set there was a steamy mist that hung in the air from the spray, creating an eerie view across the bay. I love the fact that in these offshore winds the water goes from dark as it breaks to a foamy white as it sprays off the back of the wave." Simon
